I was working full-time while I was finishing my undergrad - 6 credits most semesters, and one time it was 9 (I took a 3 credit class in bee keeping just for fun). That was easily manageable for me. I did the same while doing the Master's - 2 classes / 6 credits a semester. That was a bit more difficult, but manageable.
