Go to the motion input section and select alternative input sources. Add one, the default settings should be OK, but check just in case if they match what BetterJoy said they were. WebYou would have to set the wiimote as an emulated controller and bind the pointer to your mouse. Not sure how hard it would be to bind the motion controls... The Wii U Sensor Bar Ultra can run off batteries, so it's perfect for this.

I'm having the same issue with brawl, my mouse works fine as a pointer in the configuration menu but it doesn't so much as hover in one spot when I'm in-game.
