Even if they crappiest tame harvests as much as your best tool, the dinos have better ways of transporting the goods. Tools are generally worse than even basic tames.

If one managed to make a high end ascendent and I'm not sure how to do that yet, it would cost far more to repair than a plain old everyday metal tool.
